"Kief" aka crystal is a fine, high potency dust, to be sprinkled on a joint or in a bowl to increase flavour and potency.  The powder can also be pressed for those smokers preferring to dap or smoke out of a pipe.  When pressed into a hash, it will burn much slower than in dust form.
